Hale Academy is committed to helping ensure that all academically qualified students have the opportunity to benefit from our educational program. And although we promote that parents bear the primary responsibility for financing their children’s education, we are proud to announce that over $100,000 was awarded to deserving children for the 2010-2011 academic year to help offset the cost of tuition.
To apply for financial assistance you should follow these steps:
1. Formally apply and receive acceptance for admission into Hale Academy.
2. Contact the Admission Office to determine if financial aid remains available.
3. Log onto www.sss.nais.org and click on “Website for Families.”
4. Complete the Parents Financial Statement (PFS) that appears online.
*** A non-refundable $35.00 processing fee will be charged by SSS (School and Student Service for Financial Aid) at the time of application.
Approximately one week after applying, the school will receive a copy of your financial worksheet. It is at this time that we can make an initial determination of your family’s award. The amount of an award is subject to change from one year to the next, and applying for aid does not guarantee that an award will be made. Hale Academy, not SSS, will determine all award amounts. This program is utilized to help us objectively determine awards. All existing accounts must be current or deemed in good standing for a new award to be considered. Additional evidence of income may be requested by the school before finalizing an award. Families are responsible for paying the remaining tuition balance according to the terms of the Enrollment Agreement.
Please contact Hale Academy at 352-854-8835 for questions regarding the financial aid application process.
